The book’s web page at Oxford University Press
The book brings together ideas from a number of my previous articles (see my papers page) as well as a large amount of new research. It makes extensive use of statistical corpus data, using the Rolling Stone corpus. The corpus data is available at the Rolling Stone corpus website.
The book is also accompanied by a website where you can hear audio clips of the musical examples.
